This planner puts that information in one place, so you spend less time searching and more time enjoying your trip.

Start by checking the boxes that apply to you. If you use a wheelchair, we'll look for step-free entrances and accessible bathrooms. If you are hard of hearing, we'll note hotels with visual fire alarms. The planner uses a database of common accessibility features for popular destinations. For less common cities, we provide a list of questions to ask your hotel and tour operators.

Once you generate a plan, you can print it or save it to your browser. Saved plans stay on your device—we don't upload anything to a server. That means your travel details stay private.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Many travelers assume all "accessible" rooms are the same. In reality, one hotel's accessible room might have a tub with grab bars, while another has a true roll-in shower. Always call ahead and ask for exact measurements if you need specific clearance. Another mistake is not checking transportation from the airport. Some cities have accessible taxis, but you may need to book them in advance.
